St Edmund Hall’s IT Manager conducted a web accessibility audit in July 2020. The UK Government’s basic accessibility checklist was used in conjunction with the free Site Improve Accessibility Checker Chrome Extension. The WordPress theme was modified as much as possible to comply with the new standard.

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.

Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

The colour contrast is insufficient. This fails WCAG AA 1.4.3 Contrast (Minimum).

Some of our images may not be text free. This fails WCAG AA 1.4.5 Images of Text.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

St Edmund Hall’s IT Manager conducted a web accessibility audit in July 2020. The UK Government’s basic accessibility checklist was used in conjunction with the free Site Improve Accessibility Checker Chrome Extension. The WordPress theme was modified as much as possible to comply with the new standard.
